Secaucus PD (NJ) Lieutenant’s Promotional Course (2026) is a focused prep program built specifically for NJ promotional testing—covering BOTH the 100-question written exam (2.5 hours) and the oral board. This course is built directly from the official reading list (specified chapters) and targets what is most testable in criminal investigation, 21st-century policing, organizational behavior/management, police administration, and supervision.

Designed for candidates preparing under NJ Chiefs of Police custom testing expectations, the program trains you to do more than “know the material.” You will learn how to apply it the way the exam and board demand: fast, accurate, and defensible. We drill practical application of 2025 NJ Case Law (LEH) and NJ Attorney General Guidelines/Directives, with emphasis on real-world decision points that commonly separate top scores from average performance.

For the written exam, instruction is structured to strengthen recall, comprehension, and application under time pressure. For the oral board, we focus on lieutenant-level articulation—clear priorities, lawful reasoning, command presence, and supervisor-ready judgment.
