Detective/Investigator Assessment Center & Oral Board Promotional Training Course
This program prepares officers for Detective/Investigator promotional assessment centers and oral boards. You’ll train the skills evaluators score most: investigative priorities, legal decision-making, evidence preservation, lead development, documentation, and clear articulation under time pressure. Through realistic case-based role-plays, in-basket case management, and structured interview practice, you’ll learn how to build a defensible investigative plan, coordinate resources, and communicate effectively with patrol, victims, supervisors, and prosecutors. You’ll leave with a repeatable framework and proven language to deliver confident, courtroom-ready responses in every exercise. Optional instructor-led coaching is available at checkout.
