Can I view a sample of your lesson?
YES! Click on THIS LINK to take you to the specific department items for your written exam. There are two sample lessons you may preview under the Sample Curriculum portion of that page. After review, be sure to return to this page to enroll in the Full Course.

How many times can I review the material?
Once you are enrolled, you have two years of continuous access to the lessons. We encourage you to redo lessons over and over to enhance retention of material. We want you to review specific items that we will be covering in class prior to the lecture date as well. If you test is delayed, we can extend your duration as a group.

With the assessment center, how will I be prepared?
Immediately upon registering, you will have access to our ONLINE assessment course which has study materials, practice assessments, instructor tips, sample responses and more. You will get one (1) complimentary coaching session with a J. Harris Instructor that will assist in preparing you for any oral board. If you want to purchase additional sessions, you can do so through our website.

What if my test is cancelled or delayed? Can I get a refund?
Once you start the program and have access to our materials, you cannot request a refund. You have two years from the date of purchase to access the materials. Since this is a specific department test, we can extend the period due department delays and issues for the entire group.

What happens if I sign up and then I am not eligible to take the exam?
This happens from time to time. Once you provide a department letter confirming you are not eligible, we will remove you from your current program. We will discuss either a credit (at the current price) for a future course or a refund.

When will in-person lectures be?
Lectures will be scheduled AFTER the official test announcement and dates are set. We don't want to burn you out before the test is even announced! Classes are held on weekends at Malcolm X College. They start at 0830 hours and end around 2 to 2:30pm. We ask you bring lunch and snacks as we work through lunch. We will record every in-person lecture and post it in our online classroom. We encourage you to attend classes with the Sergeants to get additional training for your exam.
